When I grow up

It seems to be one thing after another this week.

When Johnathan got home from school we were talking about his day. Apparently they had asked all the children what they wanted to be when they grew up. As I was asking him about this he said, "All the other kids want to be doctors." "Oh really?" I said, "What did you want to be when you grow up?" "The Wizard of Oz."

Here's to setting your standards high today!

OK, I'm laughing out loud again! That Johnathan is so funny. He would have so much fun with our "grands." Wish they could be together more.

You'll definitely need to bring him to the fall musical this year -- The Wizard of Oz -- Nov. 1-3.

(How's that for trying to come up with another excuse for a trip so I can see your sweet babies!)

Johnathan is a trip! I love hearing his take on the world. (and it makes me wait in eager anticipation to see what Gideon will say)

Oh, and nice changes to your blog template. Looks good.

My parents told me that when I was little they asked me the "when you grow up" question. I said something to the effect of, "I want to take care of sick animals. I'm going to be a vegetarian."

Oh my word! I have THE MOST PRECIOUS nephew EVER!!!!! :) I LOVE ALL of the Johnathan-isms!!!!
He is so verbal for his age! If the Wizard of Oz can perform "miracles", that's pretty close to being a doctor! :) You guys are GREAT parents to adorable angels! Can't wait to hear the Kalleigh-isms, too!!!
