The ceremony was beautiful, and my Uncle Randy did a great job directing the service. All twelve of us grandkids were together for the first time since 1995! We and some of our spouses sang "Thank You (For Giving to the Lord)," arranged by John, at the service, which was very meaningful. And what a great blend of talented voices! There are just not many groups who can throw a tricky arrangment together the night before and sing it nearly flawlessly the next day! Here's the crazy bunch:
We have had so much fun together!I'm in AR this whole week with the kiddos. John graciously agreed to leave us here while he goes back home to work and then comes back to get us this weekend.
Here's the slideshow that we showed at the visitation. I added a few of my own pictures in as well. What an amazing man. I can't wait to see him again!

Kim - I was so sorry to hear about your PaPaw. He looked like he lived such a full and beautiful life. I could tell he was so proud of all his children and grandchildren. But you are correct - he got the best present of all on Christmas Day - seeing Jesus. May God bless you and your family in the upcoming year!
P.S. It's amazing how much your mother looks like your grandmother. Just had to add that in there! :)
I'm so sorry about the loss of your Pawpaw. Your slide show is such a wonderful tribute to him. It gives a small insight to all of us of what a wonderful man, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather that he was. May God grant you and your family with much peace and confort.
It really has been so wonderful being with everyone again. I think the picture of Mamaw and Papaw laughing in front of the fireplace is my favorite. :)
I can think of no better of a tribute to who was obviously such a wonderful man. The amazing joy in looking past your loss to his peace is overwhelming and very inspirational. May the Lord bless you all with continued peace and his memories keep him forever present. You all are truly a special family to many!

Although I'm sorry to hear of your loss, I know he got the greatest gift of all, being in the arms of his Lord. What a truly loving tribute to a great man. I wish I could have known him.
Kimberly, this post is so wonderful. I'm so glad you got these pictures with the "titles" on them. We did have a wonderful family time together, and you cousins sounded amazing on the song.
