The soft focus effect seen here is carefully created by a 3 1/2 yr old prying open the camera lens cover and rubbing his greasy fingers directly onto the lens. Just because he can.
Must be in the Kell blood - Addie is awed and fascinated with my old camera. She will carry it around for hours, looking at it and sliding the lens "door" open and shut. I suppose she recognizes the camera, though, as part of her daily life since I seem to have mine out all the time snapping her "moments!" Looking forward to seeing you in a couple weeks!!

great picture! However, I do not think I'll be using that new "special effect" with my new camera! :)
Maybe this is the beginning of a budding artist. We may have the new Ansel Adams on our hands... or greasy fingers, as the case may be.
